    GAME PERIOD

The game shall be played in monthly rounds with the first round beginning on 1 June 2015 at approximately 00h00 (GMT+2) and ending on 30 June 2015 at approximately 23h59 (GMT+2) (“the Game Period”). After the initial Game Period, the next Game Period shall be shown on the dash4cash home page.

    How to Play

On the page headed “Make Your Pick” you will see a list of matches between two teams and/or individual competitors of various sports (“Matchups”) and you have to predict the outcome of one of the matchups (“your pick”).

The expected start time of a Matchup will be shown on the Matchup and this time is referred to as the “Lock Time”. When Lock Time commences, the Matchup is Locked and you are prohibited from amending Your Pick and you are also prohibited from making a new Pick on any other Matchup until the Lock Time expires (the game is “Unlocked”) which shall be at the expiration of that particular match.

Dash4Cash reserves the right to amend Lock Times to accommodate later or early starts, or for any other reason, in any Matchups.

In the event that a matchup is erroneously left Unlocked during a matchup, Dash4Cash shall be entitled to Lock the game and/or cancel it altogether at its sole discretion.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY SELECT ONE MATCHUP AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.

Once the Matchup you have selected has been marked final you will be able to select the winner of a Matchup which has not started yet.

    FORFEIT

You can elect to forfeit a Matchup which is Locked however you will receive a loss regardless of the result of the Matchup you elect to forfeit.

You can elect to forfeit as many times as you like during the Game Period.

To forfeit a Matchup which is Locked you must click on the “Forfeit” link. The moment you click on the forfeit link you accept a loss in the Matchup which you have elected to forfeit.

Dash4Cash shall add Matchups all the time and you must check for new Matchups regularly to make sure you don’t miss a Matchup which may help you win the prize.

Please ensure that you read the Matchup questions carefully before making Your Pick.

On the first day of the Game Period all participants commence with a dash of 0 (zero) and the most wins selected shall be 0 (zero). At the end of the Game Period all dashes and most wins selected shall be reset to 0 (zero).

When you correctly predict the outcome of a Matchup your dash shall continue. If you incorrectly predict the outcome of a Matchup or elect to forfeit your dash ends and your dash will be reset to 0 (Zero) however you will still be eligible to win a prize during that Game Period for the most selected wins during that Game Period regardless of whether the wins are selected consecutively so keep playing to get those wins up! The most selected wins will only be reset to 0 (zero) at the commencement of a new Game Period.

Your Dash total is measured by the number of consecutive correct picks which you make during the game period.

Your Most Wins total is measured by the number of correct picks which you make during the Game Period regardless of whether these correct picks are made consecutively or not, the correct picks are only required to have been made during the relevant Game Period and shall expire at the end of the Game Period in which they were made.

You are not required to make a selection each day.

Matchups that end as a tie shall be ignored and your dash shall continue and a tied Matchup shall not form part of your Most Wins.

Dash4Cash reserves the right to cancel Matchups due to inter alia player injuries, weather, player absences. If a Matchup is cancelled or postponed the Matchup shall be ignored and your dash and your Most Wins shall continue unchanged.

    Prizes

At the end of the Game Period a monetary prize (“the Dash Prize”) shall be given to the participant who accumulates a dash of 25 (twenty five) or more during the Game Period and a monetary prize (“the Most Wins Prize”) shall be given to the participant who accumulates the Most Wins during the Game Period. The sum of the Dash Prize and the sum of the Most Wins Prize shall be displayed on the home page during the relevant Game Period.

Should a participant accumulate a longer dash than 25 (twenty five) or more, the participant with the longest dash shall win the Dash Prize. For the sake of clarity see the example set out below:

Joe (a participant) correctly predicts 27 (twenty seven) consecutive Matchups during the Game Period. This means Joe has a dash of 27 (twenty seven) and should Joe have the longest dash (ie no other participant has reached a dash of 27 or more) he shall receive the prize. IF Sarah, during the same Game Period as Joe, correctly predicts 28 (twenty eight) consecutive Matchups during the Game Period and is the participant who has accumulated the longest dash, being a dash of 28 (twenty eight) then Joe shall not receive the prize but Sarah will receive the prize.

The winner of the Dash Prize and the Most Wins Prize shall be announced on the day following the expiry of the Game Period and Dash4Cash shall email the winning participants to notify them that they have won the prize’s for the Game Period (“notification email”).

In the event that 2 (two) or more participants are tied (“the tied participants”) for the Dash Prize or for the Most Wins Prize at the end of the Game Period the tied participant who has accumulated the higher winning percentage during the Game Period shall win the Dash Prize or the Most Wins Prize for the Game Period whichever prize is relevant to the tie. Your winning percentage is shown on your membership account, it reflects the percentage of Picks which you have made during the Game Period that have been correct. For example, if you have made 40 picks during the Game Period and 30 have been correct, your winning percentage shall be 75% (seventy five percent). When calculating your winning percentage, the correct picks don’t need to have been made consecutively.

In the event that 2 (two) or more participants have the same dash or the same Most Wins and the same winning percentage, the prize money shall be distributed proportionately between the participants who have tied.

The participant who wins the Dash Prize or the Most Wins Prize (“winning participant”) is required to acknowledge receipt of the notification email by responding to the email and informing Dash4Cash of their banking details and address. In the event that the winning participant fails to respond to the notification email within 30 (thirty) days, the winning participant shall forfeit the prize and HSM reserves the right to redistribute or dispose of the prize at its discretion.

All participants are responsible for ensuring that their email addresses are accurate and up to date at all times.

A potential winner will be disqualified if he/she does not comply with these rules and with the terms.

Dash4Cash shall endeavor to pay the amount won into the winning participant’s bank account within 7 (seven) business days after receiving the winning participants banking details.

PLEASE NOTE: Should the winning participant not be a resident of the Republic of South Africa, the payment of the prize shall be subject to approval from the Reserve Bank or an authorized dealer for the payment to, in favour of, or on behalf of a winning participant resident outside the Republic of South Africa (“non-resident”). HSM has no control over this process and should the Reserve Bank refuse to allow the transfer of the prize amount to a non resident, the winner shall forfeit the winning amount, unless the winner can provide HSM with bank details for a bank within the Republic of South Africa.

Any applicable fees and/or costs associated with the transfer of funds shall be paid by the winning participant and not by Dash4Cash.

Any tax liabilities arising from this Game are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Please note that this Game is strictly for entertainment purposes and is not a game subject to odds or any type of random selection winners. More importantly the game is free of charge.

Please note that Apple is not a sponsor of this Game nor is Apple associated with this Game in anyway, Apple merely offers a platform being the Apple App Store, to allow participants to download the Application for this Game.

    Multiple Plays PROHIBITED

Only 1 (one) entry per game is allowed per person regardless of the number of email addresses or registered membership accounts that 1 (one) person may have.

The use of any automated system such as inter alia robots, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods is prohibited. An attempt to use an automated system to obtain more than 1 (one) entry per game by any participant will automatically void all of that participants entries and that participant shall be automatically disqualified from receiving a prize.

    9. PRIZES SHALL NOT BE APPLE PRODUCTS

9.1 In the event that the HSM decides to allocate additional prizes over and above the prizes set out in these rules, those prizes shall not be any products which are owned, manufactured or produced by Apple.
